Trump “Declines” Britain’s Help: We’ve Already Won the War

U.S. President Donald Trump posted a message directed at Keir Starmer on his Truth Social account, commenting on Britain’s potential deployment of aircraft carriers to the Middle East.

Trump noted that the United Kingdom “is finally seriously considering” sending two aircraft carriers to the region, but he suggested the offer was unnecessary.

“United Kingdom, once our great ally — perhaps the greatest of all — is finally seriously thinking about sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East,” Trump wrote. “That’s fine, Prime Minister Starmer, we don’t need them — but we will remember it.”

He added, “We don’t need people joining wars we’ve already won! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

The remarks come as reports indicate that the Royal Navy has been preparing an aircraft carrier for potential deployment in the Middle East. The British Ministry of Defence stated that the carrier had been on a “very high readiness” alert for 10 days, now reduced to five days to allow rapid deployment if necessary.

Trump’s message underscores his insistence that U.S. forces have already achieved decisive success in the ongoing conflict and that additional allied support is not required at this stage.
