Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has emphasized that Ankara’s primary objective is to keep the country out of escalating regional conflict, prioritizing the safety and peace of Turkey’s 86 million citizens. “Our main goal is to keep our country away from this fire. Ensuring the security of Turkey and the peace of our citizens is our highest priority,” Erdogan said on Monday, according to Telegrafi. He made clear that Turkey supports international law, peace, and resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomacy, highlighting that Ankara has held talks with 16 international leaders since the start of the conflict to find a way out. Coordination with NATO and Security MeasuresErdogan added that Turkey is closely monitoring developments alongside NATO and other allies while taking additional steps to strengthen national security. He also addressed energy security, stating that prior investments and agreements keep the country free from immediate risks. The president assured that there have been no disruptions at Turkey’s three border crossings with Iran and that Turkish airspace is monitored 24/7 by F-16 fighter jets and early-warning systems. Warning to TehranErdogan warned Iran against provocative actions that could harm the centuries-old relations between the two countries, stressing that Ankara has made extraordinary efforts to prevent further escalation and bloodshed in the region. “No one should assume they can cast a shadow over our millennia-old neighborly and fraternal ties with Iran,” Erdogan concluded. /Zëri i Drenices/ Related PostsQytetarja emocionohet në Mitrovicë, përqafon Vjosa Osmanin...
