U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran of severe military consequences if it places mines or disrupts oil traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical maritime energy routes. In a public post, Trump said that if Iran has deployed mines in this strategic strait, they must be removed “immediately.” He added that failure to do so would trigger military repercussions for Iran on a scale “never seen before.” According to the president, any Iranian action that halts oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz would provoke an extremely strong response from the United States. Trump stated that Iran could be struck “twenty times harder” than it has been so far. The U.S. leader also warned that the United States could target facilities in a way that would make it nearly impossible for Iran to recover as a functioning state in the future. In his statement, the 79-year-old used the phrase “death, fire, and fury,” while noting that he hopes such escalation can be avoided. Trump described the U.S. stance as a “gift” to countries heavily dependent on oil transit through the strait, highlighting China and other major global energy consumers. The Strait of Hormuz is a crucial chokepoint for international oil trade, with a significant portion of global energy exports passing through it. Any tension in the area is viewed as a major risk to global energy markets and regional stability. /Zëri i Drenices/ Related PostsRaportohet për datën e fundit të luftës...
