The United Arab Emirates announced on Saturday that its air defense systems intercepted ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran. The UAE Ministry of Defense said in a statement that its air defense responded to missile and drone threats targeting the country. It added that the sounds heard in various areas were caused by the air defense systems engaging the incoming ballistic missiles and drones. No immediate details were released regarding potential casualties or damage. This development comes despite Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stating on Saturday that Iran would refrain from attacking neighboring states unless provoked by attacks originating from their territory. Iran began launching missiles and drones on February 28 toward Israel and Gulf states hosting U.S. military assets. Some of these strikes have caused casualties and damage to civilian areas, including ports and residential buildings. Tehran claims the attacks are in response to a U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran that has killed hundreds, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials. /Zëri i Drenices/ Related PostsRaportohet për datën e fundit të luftës...
