US Announces Reward for Information

The United States Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information related to the new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei.

The announcement was made through the Rewards for Justice program, which is run by the department’s Diplomatic Security Service.

According to officials, the reward targets individuals believed to play key roles in the leadership and operations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).


Mojtaba Khamenei Among Key Figures Listed

A banner released by the US program lists Mojtaba Khamenei among several individuals wanted for information.

He is the son of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and is reported to have assumed the leadership role following his father’s death.

US authorities are seeking intelligence about his activities and connections within Iran’s military and political leadership.


Other Senior Iranian Officials Named

The list also includes several other senior Iranian figures, such as:

  • Ali Asghar Hejazi, deputy chief of staff to the late Supreme Leader
  • Ali Larijani, senior security official
  • Yahya Rahim Safavi, military adviser to the Supreme Leader
  • Eskandar Momeni, Iran’s Interior Minister
  • Esmail Khatib, Iran’s Intelligence Minister

Several additional positions were listed without specific names, including the secretary of the Supreme Defense Council and the commander of the IRGC.


Role of the IRGC in Global Operations

The individuals mentioned are described as senior leaders responsible for directing various branches of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to the announcement, the organization is accused of planning, organizing and conducting operations globally through its networks and affiliated groups.


Secure Channels for Informants

The Rewards for Justice program stated that people with relevant information about these figures or IRGC networks can contact authorities through secure channels.

These include encrypted messaging platforms and communication systems based on the Tor network.

Officials said credible information could lead to a reward of up to $10 million.
